Helen Keast of Food Safeology Limited combines working as auditor for a certification body with independent consultancy work within the Food Industry. Helen is an approved auditor for the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and has experience of other BRC standards including the BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials, The BRC Global Standard for Agents and Brokers and the BRC Global Standard for Storage & Distribution.
Before working as a food auditor Helen worked in technical positions for major UK Food Manufactures including Bakkavor and Kerry Foods. Helen achieved a 1st class honors Food degree and holds FDL Lead Auditor certification and Level 4 HACCP, both of which were passed with Distinction.
Helen has audited a wide range of product categories and is knowledgeable about food safety, HACCP, current legislation, BRC requirements and food integrity.
